About us
St Patrick’s Band are Galway's Premier Brass Band and have been teaching music, providing engagement through all age ranges, and performing for Galwegians (as well as nationally and internationally) since its inception in 1896.
As a community-based organization, St Patrick's Band strives to spread inclusion, participation and joy through the magical medium of music.
We hope to develop the potential of young people as well as providing vital social outlets for people of all backgrounds and ages in our community.
We are constantly on the lookout for new members, and donations are much needed and most appreciated to help us continue on what we believe is an essential service for the people of Galway.

While we believe the best way to maintain strong musical traditions in the West is through practice and dedication, we also believe this is best achieved in a fun and enjoyable environment.
