St. Patrick's new Bandroom provide a social hub for musical events during the 90's

With the new Bandroom the Band was able to provide musical facilities to a new Galway Concert Orchestra (GCO), the brainchild of Pat Heaney. Band members also played and provided musicians to the GCO. The orchestra provided classical music concerts in Galway and other areas e.g. Aran, Ballinasloe and Waterford throughout the decade.

Other groups such as the Pan Celtic Festival held dances there and the Western Region Bands had a base to use on their visits to Galway. Set dancing classes and ceilis were also available in the Bandroom in the nineties.
